Freddie came to us a couple of months ago extremely neglected, he had been a yard dog and wasnt used to people, and he had areas of no fur and sore skin :-( he had never had toys before and on arrival kennel guarded and protected his toys, whilst he didnt, and hasnt ever as far as we are aware, bitten, he was snappy and grumbly around people, it took him a long time to bond to his handler and only actually happened when he came into her home to recover from his neuter, he now greets his handler with a wagging tail and brings his toy to be played with he will take time to bond to his person he has obviously never known affection and has taken a little while to understand that when he trusts someone its nice to be stroked. He will require an experience patient home who will give him time to start to want to come to his human and seek affection. Hes 4yrs old, selective with some dogs, cannot be homed with children due to the time it takes him to build trust Freddie is believed to have had very little interaction with people during the first 4yrs of his life
